A varied audience including both investors and professional advisors met recently at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Boston to gain a more thorough perspective on the benefits of alternative investments for growing retirement wealth – particularly within self-directed IRAs and Solo(k) Plans.
The two-day Symposium offered a total of 18 sessions, on two different educational tracks featuring a keynote presentation by Mitch Anthony of Advisor Insights, Inc. on how to move from focusing on Return On Investment (ROI) to Return On Life (ROL).
On Day 1, track 1 (Self-directed Investing 101) was designed for those new to alternative investing, wishing to understand how self-directed IRAs work, and how to use them to achieve a truly diversified portfolio.
Track 2 (Intermediate/Advanced) was geared towards professional advisors, offering the latest information and techniques for successfully capitalizing on alternative assets to attain greater business growth and client satisfaction.
On Day 2, all attendees could choose from a menu of sessions designed to focus on various subjects of interest to every attendee.
